John Muir Trust is a membership based charity formed in 1983 to safeguard the future of wild lands against development and to promote awareness and recognition of the value of such places. The trust has over 10,000 members and just over 40 staff based around Scotland, supporting both education projects and the management of 8 estate properties including Quinag, which is located in the CALL area. Quinag is managed by a small team of staff based in the northwest and on the Black Isle.
