Introduction To Whittling

On this fun course you’ll learn how to carve safely by working through a number of small projects such as carving a wand, spreading knife and mushrooms. These projects will introduce you to different carving techniques and types of carving knives, how to work with the grain, remove wood quickly and add fine detail. With the knowledge gained on the course you’ll be able to work on a whole range of your own whittling projects.

There will also be a look at knife sharpening as well as other small fun projects to work on.
