Introduction to Whittling – Cancelled

On this fun taster course you’ll work through the steps of carving a wand, from removing wood quickly to adding fine detail. This will introduce you to different carving techniques and how to carve safely. With the knowledge gained on the course you’ll be able to work on a whole range of your own whittling projects.

Time permitting there will also be a quick look at knife sharpening as well as other small fun projects to work on.

Suitable for ages 11 and above, under 18’s to be accompanied by an Adult
