On 18 August 2021 we held our free, virtual conference, Our Living Landscape: Communities Leading Change, to celebrate the end of our five years of National Heritage Lottery Funding. There were 24 presentations from partners and funders, sharing their learnings and the outcomes of their projects.

Over 200 people from all over the UK and beyond registered for the event, with many of those who attended leaving beautiful comments on how much they enjoyed the speakers. Thank you to everyone who supported the event. Don’t forget that you can still watch the presentations on our website CALLP Conference – Coigach & Assynt Living Landscape (coigach-assynt.org).

We will be loading the actual conference recordings onto the website in due course so even if you were not able to join us on the day, you can still watch and view the live Q and A sessions with the speakers on each topic.

This is not the end of Coigach & Assynt Living Landscape! Discussions are continuing between partners to carry out the 40 Year vision in place for the Coigach and Assynt project area. Scottish Wildlife Trust is taking the lead with these discussions and future funding opportunities. Please do keep an eye on our social media pages for future developments. In addition, because of delays due to the pandemic a number of projects are still due to be completed in the next couple of months – we’ll continue to post news about these as well.

As for our partners and funders, please do keep in touch with them. Their fantastic work will continue without the CALL partnership team and we look forward to seeing their next projects.

Finally thank you again to all the partners, funders, project partners, volunteers, and contractors that have been involved with CALLP over the last five years. Our successes would not have been possible without all your help.
