Wild Wood Week – save the date

Why not join in one or more of the activities offered during Wild Wood Week in Assynt: 8th to 13th September?  Inspired by the CALL trip to Romania, local woodworker Chris Goodman has put together a great programme of events – including wood carving, a fungal foray, a chance to help with tree nursery work, and other events, culminating in a Woodland Festival day on 13th September.  At the festival there will be demos and activities, home-made food, an apple press (bring your own apples to try it out!), informal music, and a bonfire – it promises to be a great day.  See the links and downloads section for the poster – come along and bring your friends!  Viv
