,

We had a really good day at the Coigach Gathering on Saturday – chatting to lots of people (locals and visitors) about CALL and some of the ideas for the future.  We had some lovely healthy tree seedlings from the nursery, grown by Nick, which all sold – and we also sold several beautiful carved spoons from Chris Goodman.  Those of you who have been on Chris’ courses know what a lot of hours go into making one of these.  Also on the table were some souvenirs brought back from Romania, and photos on the laptop. This visit was very inspiring and do look out for local courses and events as spin-offs from it (perhaps in the autumn after the summer quietens down).

CALL has been busy in the three years since it’s launch in 2011. The Third Year Review is now available – see the Downloads section. As well as developments like the tree nursery and activity days, there is a huge amount going on behind the scenes in preparation for (we hope!) our success with the HLF bid.  With the recent appointment of more staff we will be able to do so much more.  We’d like to thank you for your continuing support.
