broch info and mountain plants

Hopefully you are aware of the open public meetings going on just now in Assynt, informing people of what is the plan behind excavating and consolidating Clachtoll broch. Your input would be very much welcomed – do try to go along to Lochinver Community Room tonight at 7pm, or Drumbeg hall tomorrow at 2pm or 7pm.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 11th, at 7.30pm I’ll be giving a talk in Lochinver Community Room. In a previous life I worked as an independent ecologist, specialising in upland plants – so I’m talking about Mountain Flowers as part of the Wildflower week events – and showing pretty photos of things to look out for when you are out on the higher hills!  Hope to see you there.
