Now the days are longer and it’s feeling a bit like Spring, why not get out and about and enjoy our lovely area?  There is a whole range of walks, from short and easy to long and difficult, in Coigach and Assynt. If you’re not sure where it’s OK to walk, why not have a look at the Highland Council Core Paths plan for inspiration and guidance: www.highland.gov.uk%2Fleisureandtourism%2Fwhat-to-see%2Fcountrysideaccess%2Fcorepathplans. There are various maps relating to sections of Coigach (Ross & Cromarty) and Assynt (Sutherland).

Take a friend, a picnic and a pair of binoculars (as well as waterproofs of course, just in case!) – and enjoy the fresh air. Viv
